I have not spoken to all the Trustees of the Richard Porter Trust but I am absolutely sure that they would wish me to send our congratulation to you and your splendid band of assistants on the work you did, not only yesterday but on the whole project of the Calor Village of England.

 The exhibition was a great success and you must feel very proud that there was so much local interest.

On behalf of Anne and myself, I just want to thank you for making us so welcome last week.  We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know your village and it was a real pleasure to meet some of the residents.  The obvious enthusiasm we saw was especially pleasing and we really envied you living in such a lovely part of the country!

As a citizen of Mickleton I would just like to say a big thank you for organising such a superb afternoon and evening.  Everything was so well organised, the hall looked brilliant and the whole process brought many people from the village together.  Even if we don't win, a lot of good will have come out of the day/evening.  All organisations were joined together for one purpose.  Brilliant.

Congratulations on a superb village display on Monday - it would not have happened without all the organisation and enthusiasm. I thought the displays were all excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful.

 We had several enquiries from people interested in joining the gardening club and hopefully they will be coming to our next meeting.

The organisation was excellent, giving us the guidance we needed, without military style control. It has been a good experience, and we shall value being part of the village booklet.
