Thursday, 12th May – Home of ‘The Naked Gardeners’ Ian and Barbara Pollard in ancient Malmesbury, Abbey House Gardens incorporates gardening ideas, beautiful plants and the country’s largest private collection of roses as well as double herbaceous borders and fabulous specimen trees and shrubs. The gardens are set beside old Malmesbury Abbey just five miles from the M4, Junction 17. Refreshments available in the Apple Store Tea-room or in Malmesbury close by. Cost: £17 Thursday, 14th July – The
seven acres of lawn and stunning borders of The
four-acre site of Cost: £14 (may be adjusted according to demand) Sunday, 16th October – Thenford
House Garden/Arboretum, near Banbury The
home of former Conservative Deputy Prime Minister, Michael Heseltine –
includes a 50-acre garden and arboretum of 3,500 trees and shrubs at
Thenford House in his 400-acre estate in Thenford, Northamptonshire, six
miles east of Banbury. Michael
and his wife Anne began restoring the gardens in the 1970’s and were
