Calor Village of the Year, England 2008

Following success in the Gloucestershire, Calor Village of the Year 2007, Mickleton was nominated to represent the County in the all England Competition.

The judges will be looking for a well-balanced, proactive, caring village community, which, irrespective of size, has made the best of opportunities to maintain and enhance the quality of life for all inhabitants.

Mickleton judging day is Monday, 21st April from 2.30pm to 4.30 pm. On that day each village group, club and society is invited to set up a display in King George’s Hall.

After the judging an open evening from 6-9pm is planned for everyone to view the displays.
