Message from Sri Lanka The
site looks very good in Sri Lanka. Merry Christmas to all. M & J. Great to know when the site is visited. |
Web Site I have just had a look at your web site after being told by Mrs. Iris Fawcett how good it was, well, having sat and read through everything and looked at the video, I have to say it is more than good, it is wonderful, the history and photographs make the village look so inviting, which I know it is. Good luck in your events, and if I hadn't already had my website done for Birmingham Heartlands Support Group I would have asked who ever has done this to set up ours, Best wishes for a successful year. There are now many new items on the site. |

Visits to Mickleton I really enjoy my visits to this village. There are always so many interesting events going on and being planned. After many visits I am beginning to know many of the characters and I have also taken part in several past events e.g. Wild West Show, Old Time Music Hall and my favourite of all the 40's Night. I am always made to feel welcome wherever I go. Having looked at your web site I must admit I am very impressed with the Mickleton in Bloom project and would like to offer my congratulations to all who are working so hard to make it a success. Last night I stayed with my friends Iris and Max Fawcett in order to see the Stratford Operatic Concert -which was superb. Best wishes for all future undertakings. Sheila Hill. 01/07/07 Thankyou, We appreciate your comments and support. |

"Mickleton in Bloom reaches Australia " Hi, I am John W Tyson and have just been sent the link to your village, I did visit the village a few years ago to visit an old navy friend we joined the royal navy together in 1947. My friend is Wilf Bartlett, and I am in touch with him and his wife Joan quite regular, and I always ask him about the green houses it seems such a pity to see all that waste but I suppose the birds benefit from them. All the best from us down under John & Janet Tyson 02/05/07

The Union Flag. In order the meet the technicalities associated with the flying of the Union Flag - namely the raising and lowering of the flag each day and the man power necessary to accomplish this - it was agreed at the last meeting of the Mickleton in Bloom group that a flag would only be raised on appropriate occasions. 11/06/07 |

"Mickleton in Bloom reaches New Zealand" Hello to Mickleton in Bloom I just had to write & congratulate you on your wonderful site. A little piece of back ground as to how I found you. In May 2006 I had the pleasure of visiting my sister Mrs. Moore who lives in your beautiful village she showed me around & introduced me to many of the locals. My sister sent me an e-mail telling me to go into your site where I could see photo's of the Tea Party & dance plus the wonderful video of Mickleton in snow. Your in-depth description of the village history is great, a lovely history lesson for me. So you see even on the other side of the world your lovely village is being seen. I have family here in NZ that are coming to the UK in August this year (my daughter & husband) I can now show them what they can expect to see when they visit their Aunt (my sister). Keep up the good work I am sure to visit the site again. Wishing you all well. Regards Ivy Williams, Bay Of Plenty, North Island, New Zealand 22/04/07
We look forward to meeting you on your visit to the UK. |
