Message from Calor Village of the Year Organiser

Judging of first round of the national 2007/8 Calor Village of the Year® for England competition is now complete.

A big thank you to you and all the many hundreds of people who participated in the wonderful presentations.  All were excellent, some were outstanding.

If your village has been successful in winning your Region, then I hope to be in a position to telephone you with the good news by the middle of next week.  I will only be informing the overall Regional winners, NOT the Regional Category Winners.  The Category Winners will be announced at the national Calor VOY Awards Event in London on the 2nd December 2008..

The five England Regional winners will be judged between Monday 7th and Wednesday 9th July 2008.  A news and press embargo will be in place until the 2nd of December.
