Mickleton
Young Gardeners would like to thank everyone who visited us on the
Allotments for the Royal Horticultural Society, Dig Together Days. Over
300 people joined us over the two days. The
children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are already full of plans to
spend the money raised from the sale of their vegetables. They
were two fantastic days, Saturday in particular was a wonderful day, the
weather was perfect and the beautiful position of the allotments could be
fully appreciated. The
children also enjoyed meeting the other plot holders and showing them the
vegetables that they have been growing. It
was a great opportunity for everyone to get to know one another and share
an afternoon on the allotments. Thank
you all for your support, it really is appreciated. |
